Metagenome

Our database currently contains 1494 metagenome samples, covering various insect species and their microbial communities across different geographical locations and sequencing platforms. The raw data were first quality-controlled using Fastp, followed by taxonomic composition analysis through the Kraken2 workflow. Visualization was performed using Krona. Additionally, the metagenomes were assembled into contigs using Megahit, and binning was conducted with the Metabat2 workflow. High-quality MAGs were extracted based on CheckM results.
